FK GROUP: 55 YEARS OF LEGACY AND STILL A TRENDSETTER IN CUTTING SOLUTIONS!
While over 50 companies offered spreading equipment and more than 20 cutter manufacturers from across the globe exhibited at the recently concluded Texprocess Germany, FK Group, whose President Flavio Cattini is considered one of the inventors of the modern spreaders – is still intriguing the market, not only in spreaders but also in cutting machines with high-performance solutions. Designed to eliminate specific cutting challenges, FK cutters transform the cutting room into a competitive advantage as they heavily contribute in saving time, reducing cost and boosting efficiency.“Our customers appreciate that they have evolved from manual cutting to a modern automated sustainable operation over the years using our solutions,” claims Sergio Gori, CEO, FK Group. The company is a pioneer in catering to both garment and technical textile markets.
Cutting room, being the feeding point for a garment manufacturing factory, has massive impact on all the further processes of garment manufacturing i.e. sewing, finishing, etc. FK Group’s cutting solutions ensure smooth flow of work for all these processes and can uplift the optimum efficiency level of the entire production cycle. “Apart from providing productivity, quality and reliability, we ensure that users utilize our cutters in a more effective way with a very responsive service team, and that’s why we are always the favourite of our customers,” shares Gori.
Celebrating 55 years with spreaders and 25 years of serving the garment industry with its cutting solutions, the company highlighted the special edition of its benchmark machine ‘Universal 8’ on its silver jubilee.
“Despite existing in the market for so many years, this machine is still setting trends for others which says a lot about its relevance and flexibility. We have received overwhelming feedback for this machine over the years and that drives us to do continuous R&D for new cutting solutions,” informs Gori. He elaborates that the Universal 8 cutter consumes just 5.9 kW of electricity using Eco-Power technology, which is almost two times less than what is consumed by other cutters. “Furthermore, it provides remote technical assistance via web that ensures just in time total and constant support to the operator,” adds Gori.
FK Group's Universal (anniversary edition) is responsible for at least 25 per cent less CO2 emission from the cutters in one year, without affecting the productivity of the machine.
At the fair, FK Group sold 14 machines to manufacturers in various countries including
