In­dia: Axind makes tech­no­log­i­cal deal with FlixS­tock for fash­ion in­dus­try

Axind Soft­ware Pvt. Ltd., a mar­ket leader in au­to­mated soft­ware so­lu­tions for fash­ion in­dus­try, has an­nounced their col­lab­o­ra­tion with FlixS­tock, a global sup­plier of imag­ing tech­nolo­gies and ser­vices to stream­line the process of shoot­ing OnModel e- com­merce im­agery for the fash­ion and ap­parel in­dus­try, to har­ness the lat­est tech­nolo­gies for the ben­e­fit of en­tire fash­ion value chain.

In this col­lab­o­ra­tion, Axind – with soft­ware like Chain­Re­ac­tion® PLM+, Chain­Re­ac­tion® OMNI, Sup­plier Col­lab­o­ra­tor and Mock­shop – will help Flixs­tock to bring Au­to­mated Model Pho­tog­ra­phy to fash­ion in­dus­try through Cloud Stu­dio. Ex­plain­ing more about the tech­nol­ogy, Axind states that now it has be­come pos­si­ble to map a gar­ment im­age to mul­ti­ple model im­ages. This part­ner­ship will en­able FlixS­tock to step out of the Amer­i­can mar­ket and en­ter the Euro­pean & South- East Asian mar­kets.

In an exclusive con­ver­sa­tion with SW, San­joy Sah­gal, CEO of Axind, com­mented, “Imag­ine the power… A sin­gle im­age of a dress can be used to make mul­ti­ple poses on mod­els of your choice. Save costs on pho­tog­ra­phy, mod­els, stylists, etc. with a rapid turn­around time.”

It’s worth men­tion­ing here that FlixS­tock in­tro­duced Pro­gram­matic Im­age Gen­er­a­tion through its Au­to­mated Model Pho­tog­ra­phy to the world and in or­der to cap­ture the larger chunk of the fash­ion in­dus­try, the com­pany fo­cuses on de­vel­op­ing new tech­nolo­gies for fash­ion re­tail­ers.

“With our tech­nol­ogy, fash­ion com­pa­nies can save up to 75 per cent of their time and cost of imag­ing re­quire­ments.
