India: China’s Jack displays automatic sewing solutions at Knit Show 2017
Jack, one of the leading Chinese sewing machine manufacturers, displayed a wide range of its automatic overlock machines at the recently concluded Knit Show Exhibition held in Tirupur, India.
Jack participated at the fair with Prima Sewing Machine Co., the official dealer of the Chinese brand in Southern India.
During the 3- day event, JK-904E remained the ‘key’ product exhibited by Jack. The fully automatic machine eliminates the use of presser foot and lifting operations. It also incorporates a threedimensional protection with safety switches such as presser foot switch, sewing plate switch and needle bar cover switch. “Not just safety, this machine also provides an enormous amount of power saving,” claimed Jai Singh Rathore, Owner, Prima Sewing Machines Co., who added, “An ordinary overlock machine’s electricity expense is somewhere around US $ 100.8 per year, whereas JK-904E consumes much less electricity, costing US $ 60 per year only. Hence, one can see the massive difference in the cost factor.”
Jai Singh further informed that the sewing machine switches to Sleeping Mode automatically if no operation is carried out for 30 minutes.
Furthermore, JK-904E has a maximum speed of 7000 RPM, which is said to increase efficiency by at least 35 per cent when compared with any other overlock machine. Other significant benefits of the machine include an LED light system to increase lux level on needle area; automatic thread trimming system and sensors to avoid excess fabric cutting during the overlock process.
In conversation with StitchWorld, Lucian, Regional Manager, South Asia Department, Jack said, “Our JK-904E product has been made especially to take care of knitted garments. Tirupur has a large base of knitted garments and we are getting serious enquiries for this machine from there. Thus, we are geared up to serve our customers with the best and one- of- its- kind automated product, JK-904E.”
