Spain: Lec­tra names Ro­drigo Siza as Re­gional Di­rec­tor of Spain and Por­tu­gal

Lec­tra has named Ro­drigo Siza as the new Re­gional Di­rec­tor of Spain and Por­tu­gal. The com­pany is a re­puted French tech­nol­ogy ser­vice provider for fash­ion, tex­tile, fab­ric and au­to­mo­tive in­dus­tries.

“Ro­drigo has es­tab­lished long-term col­lab­o­ra­tions in fash­ion, ap­parel, au­to­mo­tive and fur­ni­ture in­dus­tries in Por­tu­gal. He has helped our cus­tomers to emerge stronger from the world cri­sis which heav­ily im­pacted them. After 10 suc­cess­ful years (2007-2017) as Head of Lec­tra Por­tu­gal, Ro­drigo is now also in charge of meet­ing the ex­pec­ta­tions of our Span­ish cus­tomers,” says Daniel Harari, Chair­man and CEO, Lec­tra. In his new role, Siza will be re­spon­si­ble for de­vel­op­ing new part­ner­ships in the two coun­tries. He will also work on build­ing Lec­tra’s strength in In­dus­try 4.0 con­cept by dig­i­tal­iz­ing op­er­a­tions of the fash­ion in­dus­try in Spain and fash­ion and au­to­mo­tive in­dus­tries in Por­tu­gal.

Lec­tra’s In­dus­try 4.0 so­lu­tions will help Span­ish fash­ion in­dus­try in han­dling the pres­sure of the rapidly chang­ing con­sumer needs. It will sup­port the coun­try’s fash­ion brands in adopt­ing shorter sup­ply chain with smaller man­u­fac­tur­ing and prod­uct de­vel­op­ment cy­cles. Siza will work on ful­fill­ing this need of the in­dus­try by ex­pand­ing the reach of Lec­tra’s so­lu­tions in both the coun­tries.

Siza holds a Masters’ de­gree in Mar­ket­ing from Minho Univer­sity and a de­gree in De­sign and Com­mu­ni­ca­tion from Porto Univer­sity. He pre­vi­ously served as De­sign and Mer­chan­dis­ing Man­ager and In­ter­na­tional Con­sul­tant at Lec­tra from 2000 to 2004.

Be­fore re- join­ing Lec­tra in 2007, Siza worked as a Sales Di­rec­tor at RPB Têx­teis e Ves­tu­ario for two years.
