The Algeria-based textile group, EPE-EATIT-SPA, has optimized its coating and finishing line by installing a whole new Stenter line set-up provided by the Bruckner Group of Germany. The installation is a part of EATIT’s ongoing expansion plan as the company aims to step forward towards using technology to raise production standards.

The new line majorly comprises of a 6-compartment Bruckner Stenter. Having working breadth of 2.40 metres, the Stenter line is equipped with the patented split-flow technology. Since lamination and coating processes require an optimum level of temperature stagnation, the split-flow technology serves the purpose in order to maintain the expected level of temperature throughout the operation. Additionally, the line consists of a fabric accumulator located at the end of the unwinding unit which collects raw fabrics. The role of the accumulator is to ensure achieving high production rate uninterruptedly with maximum efficiency. With the help of a padder, laminating calendar and a coating unit at the outlet, the line will also allow EATIT to integrate different applications altogether to use them further in textile products.

Furthermore, the integration of applications will help EATIT to develop a lamination process using textile bonding material and films. “This new line will surely make EATIT a competitive and innovative textile firm as far as textiles are concerned. Also, it will now be able to supply the products as per the market requirements,” claims Bruckner.
