Judges better than politicians
Dipak Misra created records towards the end of his term as the Chief Justice of India (TJS George’s Point of View, Oct. 7). The complaints of four judges and an impeachment attempt notwithstanding, the CJI presented historic judgements at a pace alien to the judiciary. However, the ruling on Sabarimala reflected misinterpretation. And judges post retirement would make much better governors than senior politicians who never retire.
