Sunday Express - - SUNDAY STORY -

The state is still lagging behind when it comes to technological advancements as most components are imported. This is also the case with solar inverters. These devices are integral to a solar energy system as it coverts current generated by a solar panel to a suitable voltage so that it can be fed into the main grid. “The imported inverters are not equipped to synchronize with the electricity voltage. The fluctuations of these inverters were 225-235V whereas the electricity voltage fluctuations are 190-260V,” added Raghunathan KE, founder of Solkar Solar Industry Ltd
