CBCID officials inquire duo accused of robbing `5.78 crore from Chennai - Egmore super fast train
Salem: Two persons who were arrested in connection with robbery case of `5.78 crore from a moving train were summoned by CBCID officials for an inquiry on Saturday. According to police officials, on August 8, 2016, a gang of seven members hailing from Madhya Pradesh stole `5.78 crore from Chennai - Egmore super fast express train. On Saturday, CBCID officials led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Krishnan summoned the accused to Salem and Atthur. The Saidapet court had granted police custody for the interrogation.
