THE Indian Super League is like a constantly moving elevator. League position of teams can change drastically after every match day.

Kerala Blasters host league leaders FC Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Kochi on Sunday and both sides want nothing but the three points going into the international break. “Every team is under pressure. If we see the table, I think we can still qualify. With a few wins, the table can change very drastically,” Kerala Blasters assistant coach Thangboi Singto said on the eve of the clash.

Blasters come into the game after a painful 1-2 defeat against Bengaluru FC. Since their win in the first round against ATK, Blasters played out four successive draws, followed by a defeat. The team had been in winning positions against Mumbai City and Delhi Dynamos before conceding late goals.
