Haven’t I seen this speaker somewhere before?
It’s possible, old timer. The Beolit series first launched 78 years ago, but has been brought bang up to date with the Bluetooth Beolit 17 connected speaker. Premium features, including a pearlblasted aluminium grill, premium grain leather handle and a non-slip tray for your smartphone, are the brainchild of award-winning Danish designer Cecilie Manz.
It sure looks good, but how does it sound?
The new design has freed up room for 240 watts of eardrum-fondling power inside the speaker, delivering B&O’s famously luxurious sound but with added muscle. Wireless stereo pairing enables you to connect two Beolit 17s, if the mood takes you.
Rad! Where does the tech come in?
The Beolit’s one-touch connect button can be tailored to your needs via the Beoplay app. Early start? Set an alarm within the app and use the connect button to snooze. Want to hear the last song you played on Spotify, or toggle between tone presets? The power is yours at the touch of a button.
So I can tweak the sound, too?
Absolutely. The Beoplay app’s ToneTouch function makes it easy for audiophiles to personalise the Beolit’s sound to suit the space you’re in and the music you’re playing. Found a banging sound for your workout playlists? Save it as a preset for whenever you train.
Yes! I want one.
Well, it’s not yet on sale in India but we expect it to release it soon.
Whether at home or on the go, the portable Beolit 17 can blast a full day’s worth of music, podcasts and more before it needs juicing up 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
