Sonia to take up Rae Bareli issues
Lucknow: Upset over the problems that the people in Rae Bareli, her constituency, are facing, Congress president Sonia Gandhi said on Monday that she will talk to UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav in this regard. Talking to reporters shortly after her arrival from Delhi, Mrs Gandhi said, “The situation is very bad here. There is no development in the villages and the common man is facing a lot of problem. Besides, there is no one to solve their problems.” Mrs Gandhi, who is on a two- day visit to Rae Bareli, assured the people at Faridpur village in Harchandpur block that she will talk to Mr Yadav about the power crisis directly related to the people of her constituency.
