DECLARED ‘ DEAD’ BY DOCTORS, MAN FOUND ALIVE IN MORTUARY

- AGE CORRESPONDENT

In a seemingly bizarre incident, a deaf and dumb man, declared dead by doctors, was found to be alive three days later when the police went to receive his “body” from the mortuary.

The incident took place in Aligarh district where the victim was injured in a road accident and was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state.

The doctors attending on him declared him dead on August 29 and sent his “body” to the mortuary.

His family was traced by the police and when they arrived on Sunday night, they were taken to the mortuary by the police where the victim was found to be alive.

Meanwhile, the family members of the victim created a ruckus on Monday over the issue and demanded strict action against the erring doctors, whose laxity led to the incident.
