The Delhi Jal Board initiated the action “immediately” after a complaint was registered with board regarding the issue that had also created problem for people commuting from the road already grappling with heavy rush of traffic.

“We commute from Moti Bagh Ring Road towards Dhaula Kuan and daily face 1 km long traffic jam. In between Shanti Niketan turn and adjacent to proposed Shanti Niketan Metro Station, there is a Small piece of road which is unrepaired due to leakage from DJB pipelines,” the complaint to DJB had said.
