The softer side of the Reds

Liverpool have been in red-hot form at the start of the new season — dismantling a number of Premier League opponents using Jurgen Klopp’s ‘heavy metal’ brand of attacking football. But the Reds proved they have a softer side after joining up to celebrate Lucas Leiva’s daughter’s birthday at Frozen-theme party.

Fresh from their weekend 2-1 win over West Brom, a number of Klopp’s squad celebrated the victory at a children’s play area, alongside characters from Disney’s popular animated musical. Lucas, joined by compatriots Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, took to Instagram to post a group photo of the players and their families at the event for his daughter, Valentina.

The Brazilian, who has become a cult hero at Anfield since joining the club in 2007, posted the caption: “Valentina Birthday Party!!! In life that’s what we take.”
