IAS officer suffers stroke after tiff

Bhopal: A senior IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday suffered a heart stroke inside the Assembly “following” exchanges with his senior. Commission­er, panchayat raj department of MP government, Santosh Mishra, was rushed to Hamidia government hospital and admitted in intensive care unit (ICU) after he complained of severe chest pain. His son Shubham told the reporters here that “pressure of work” has caused the stroke. Mr Mishra worked till two in the morning of Wednesday and was called to report to duty again in the morning.
