CM TRANSFERS OVER 140 TOP COPS, IAS OFFICERS

Lucknow: In his biggest administrative reshuffle, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath late Wednesday night transferred 84 IAS officer, including 9 PCS officers and 54 IPS officers. Among the transferred IAS officer, there are district magistrates of 37 districts, including Lucknow, Etawah, Mainpuri, Barabanki, Bulandshahr and Kannauj. Among the IPS officers, the most significant is the shifting of Saharanpur SSP Love Kumar who was recently attacked by a mob during communal clashes. The local BJP MP Raghav Lakhanpal had blamed the SSP for dereliction of duty while the UP IPS Association came out in support of the officer. Lucknow SSP Manzil Saini has also been transferred to Gautam Buddha Nagar as PAC commandant.
