- AGE CORRESPONDENT

Chinese tech giant OnePlus earlier this month, made an announcement suggesting that they were globally discontinuing their current flagship smartphone, OnePlus 3T. Now, a new report claims that the smartphone in question has already gone out of stock in US and European markets. While, OnePlus 3T smartphone is still available in the Indian markets and they will be until later this year, it seems like US and European markets will no longer be seeing the smartphone until the arrival of their latest flagship smartphone, OnePlus 5.

Like mentioned previously, OnePlus gave an official statement recently, stating that its OnePlus 3T smartphones will continue to be available for purchase in India until the end of this year. “The OnePlus 3T (64GB, 128GB) will continue to be available for purchase in India until later this year. OnePlus products and accessories are available through three official sales channels, including oneplustore.in, Amazon.in, and the OnePlus Experience Store in Bengaluru,” the company said in an official statement.

It is interesting to note how the OnePlus 3T smartphone seems to have gone out of stock just ahead of the OnePlus 5 smartphone launch. If reports are to be believed, the OnePlus 5 smartphone will be unveiled on June 20.

As for the price, the OnePlus 5 smartphone has been tipped to start around $479 (approximately Rs 30,800). As speculated till now, the OnePlus 5 is supposed to have the Snapdragon 835 chipset along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will surely have a dual rear camera as evident from the officially released teaser of the handset.
