Your Mountain to his ex- wife and son he barely knew. Tim died of a drug overdose at the age of 28.

In 1991, Jeff ’ s first solo performance came at the St Anne’s Epsicopal church in Brooklyn Heights, at a tribute for his father Tim. He played Tim’s songs, Sefronia the King’s Chain, Phatasmagoria, Once I Was, and even I Never Asked to be Your Mountain. Fittingly, when Jeff passed away in 1997, accidentally drowning, St Anne’s held the memorial service for him.
