CANADIAN PAIR WIN WITHOUT ‘ PORNO’ MOVE

-

Canadian figure skating pair of Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir clinched gold at the Winter Olympic in PyeongChang after toning down their “porno” routine. After competing at the Canadian skating nationals earlier this month, the duo had to change their Moulin Rouge- inspired performance after it was said to be too raunchy. But with Virtue’s legs wrapped around Moir’s neck for much of the performance, it could easily be argued they were still getting viewers a little hot under the collar. Virtue still got into a provocative position but held it only briefly, whereas before she would position her body near Moir’s face for longer. When asked by the press after the nationals what he thought of his routine, Moir replied: “Porno”. Though they altered their dance slightly in PyeongChang, the pair still raced to their second gold medal in the Winter Olympics after claiming the top gong in the ice dancing event in 2010.
