Odisha babu rides bicycle to spread green message

A senior official of the Odisha road transport department currently posted in Malkangiri district has adopted a unique way – cycling - to raise environmental awareness among people.

By pedaling a bicycle daily for regular nonofficial work near the locality, the officer named Prahallad Behera spreads a message to keep the pollution away.

“The vehicle ( bicycle) was invented out of necessity. It should be used in need. We should ride a bicycle to control pollution and reduce the accident rate,” said Mr Behera.
