Dentsu In­dia, the cre­ative agency from the sta­ble of Dentsu Aegis Net­work has ap­pointed Rahul Sengupta as chief cre­ative of­fi­cer. Armed with more than 23 years on ex­pe­ri­ence in ad­ver­tis­ing, di­rec­tion and pro­duc­tion, Sengupta has worked on brands such as Ba­jaj two wheel­ers, ICICI Pru­den­tial, Ti­tan, Tan­ishq, Bri­tan­nia, Kwal­ity Walls, Kis­san, Nis­san, Sony Max, Stan­dard Char­tered Bank and Adi­das. Sengupta be­gan his ca­reer at Mu­dra in 1993 (first in Ben­galuru and then in Mum­bai) and then moved on to Lowe World­wide where he was ex­ec­u­tive cre­ative di­rec­tor. He joined TBWA In­dia in 2008 as na­tional cre­ative di­rec­tor, fol­low­ing which, he set up Nine­teen Films in 2013.

Dentsu Im­pact

Dentsu Im­pact the cre­ative agency from the sta­ble of Dentsu Aegis Net­work, has el­e­vated Anu­pama Ra­maswamy as na­tional cre­ative di­rec­tor. She had joined the agency as ex­ec­u­tive cre­ative di­rec­tor in the year 2016. The re­cent re-struc­tur­ing hap­pened ow­ing to the con­sol­i­da­tion of cre­ative, dig­i­tal and me­dia du­ties for all Maruti Suzuki brands (ex­cept Nexa brands) with Dentsu Aegis Net­work. Post this de­vel­op­ment, the net­work cre­ated an in­te­grated cre­ative team which will de­liver so­lu­tions for the brand. Ra­maswamy would be lead­ing this team both on off­line as well as dig­i­tal cre­ative front.

Baaash Dig­i­tal

Baaash Dig­i­tal, from the sta­ble of Creative­land Asia Group, has ap­pointed Ankush So­honi as chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer. So­honi will lead busi­ness de­vel­op­ment and brand strat­egy at the agency. He has ex­ten­sive ex­pe­ri­ence across dig­i­tal com­mu­ni­ca­tion, brand strat­egy and edi­to­rial. His ex­pe­ri­ence spans ver­ti­cals rang­ing from FMCG, Me­dia & En­ter­tain­ment, Tech­nol­ogy and Fi­nan­cial Ser­vices. Most re­cently, he was han­dling NBA In­dia’s dig­i­tal ecosys­tem at the 120 Me­dia Col­lec­tive in the ca­pac­ity of busi­ness di­rec­tor.

The Ad­ver­tis­ing Club has unan­i­mously elected Vikram Sakhuja, group chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer, Me­dia and OOH, Madi­son Com­mu­ni­ca­tions as pres­i­dent. Pre­vi­ously, Raj Nayak, chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer, Vi­a­com18 held the po­si­tion as pres­i­dent for two years.
