Spatial Access, a media audit company, has appointed Vineet Sodhani as chief executive officer. Sodhani has a wide range of experience spanning two decades in media strategy, sales and marketing in India and the US. In the past he has worked for Times Television Network, Starcom Mediavest Group, Hansa Research Group, AC Nielsen and ORG-MARG. In 2012 he co-authored Guide to Indian Markets and is presently working on his second book.
Omnicom Media Group India has appointed
Priti Murthy as chief executive officer. In her new role, Murthy will lead OMD across all business functions, with a focus on building and leading future-ready teams, managing client relationships, and securing new business and growth. Her appointment is effective October 2017 and she will report to Torie Henderson, CEO, Omnicom Media Group, SEA and India. In a career spanning over two decades (of which 13 has been with Maxus) in media planning, insights and strategy, Priti’s forte lies in transforming businesses — by facilitating brand teams to work through key challenges and achieving business objectives — and reinvented thinking in terms of product conceptualisation and development. At Maxus, Priti has led the development of a Behavioural Science Lab that merges the disciplines of behavioural science, sociology, and psychology to solve real-life business problems. She is also a certified coach that value adds to her leadership skills.

Omnicom Media Group has promoted
Mamatha Morvanakar as chief investment officer for India. Previously, Morvanakar was working with the agency as managing director — West. In this role, Morvanakar will be responsible for the investment, accountability and strategic partnerships across Omnicom Media Group’s four offices and for all clients across OMD and PHD. Morvanakar has been one of OMD India’s founding members and has played an active role in agency’s growth journey. Having won and managed a portfolio mix of automotive, FMCG, media, travel and technology clients, her passion and contribution to the overall business has led to both agency recognition and award-winning work.
Indian Broadcasting Foundation
Indian Broadcasting Foundation’s board of directors re-elected Punit Goenka, managing director and chief executive officer Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) as president. The Annual General Meeting was held on September 15, 2017, following which there was a board meeting where the decision was taken.
Board members also elected K. Madhavan
(Asianet Communications), N.P. Singh (Sony Pictures Network), Rajat Sharma (India TV) and Sudhanshu Vats (Viacom 18 India) as vice presidents of the foundation for the second consecutive term. Aroon Purie was elected as the treasurer of the foundation. The Board also co-opted CEO of Prasar Bharati, Shashi S. Vempati as the director on the Board.
