Spa­tial Ac­cess

Spa­tial Ac­cess, a me­dia au­dit com­pany, has ap­pointed Vi­neet Sod­hani as chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer. Sod­hani has a wide range of ex­pe­ri­ence span­ning two decades in me­dia strat­egy, sales and mar­ket­ing in In­dia and the US. In the past he has worked for Times Tele­vi­sion Net­work, Star­com Me­di­avest Group, Hansa Re­search Group, AC Nielsen and ORG-MARG. In 2012 he co-au­thored Guide to In­dian Mar­kets and is presently work­ing on his sec­ond book.

Om­ni­com Me­dia Group In­dia has ap­pointed

Priti Murthy as chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer. In her new role, Murthy will lead OMD across all busi­ness func­tions, with a fo­cus on build­ing and lead­ing fu­ture-ready teams, man­ag­ing client re­la­tion­ships, and se­cur­ing new busi­ness and growth. Her ap­point­ment is ef­fec­tive Oc­to­ber 2017 and she will re­port to Torie Hen­der­son, CEO, Om­ni­com Me­dia Group, SEA and In­dia. In a ca­reer span­ning over two decades (of which 13 has been with Maxus) in me­dia plan­ning, in­sights and strat­egy, Priti’s forte lies in trans­form­ing busi­nesses — by fa­cil­i­tat­ing brand teams to work through key chal­lenges and achiev­ing busi­ness ob­jec­tives — and rein­vented think­ing in terms of prod­uct con­cep­tu­al­i­sa­tion and de­vel­op­ment. At Maxus, Priti has led the de­vel­op­ment of a Be­havioural Science Lab that merges the dis­ci­plines of be­havioural science, so­ci­ol­ogy, and psy­chol­ogy to solve real-life busi­ness prob­lems. She is also a cer­ti­fied coach that value adds to her lead­er­ship skills.

Om­ni­com Me­dia Group has pro­moted

Mamatha Mor­vanakar as chief in­vest­ment of­fi­cer for In­dia. Pre­vi­ously, Mor­vanakar was work­ing with the agency as man­ag­ing di­rec­tor — West. In this role, Mor­vanakar will be re­spon­si­ble for the in­vest­ment, ac­count­abil­ity and strate­gic part­ner­ships across Om­ni­com Me­dia Group’s four of­fices and for all clients across OMD and PHD. Mor­vanakar has been one of OMD In­dia’s found­ing mem­bers and has played an ac­tive role in agency’s growth jour­ney. Hav­ing won and man­aged a port­fo­lio mix of au­to­mo­tive, FMCG, me­dia, travel and tech­nol­ogy clients, her pas­sion and con­tri­bu­tion to the over­all busi­ness has led to both agency recog­ni­tion and award-win­ning work.

In­dian Broad­cast­ing Foun­da­tion

In­dian Broad­cast­ing Foun­da­tion’s board of direc­tors re-elected Pu­nit Goenka, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor and chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Zee En­ter­tain­ment En­ter­prises (ZEEL) as pres­i­dent. The An­nual Gen­eral Meet­ing was held on Septem­ber 15, 2017, fol­low­ing which there was a board meet­ing where the de­ci­sion was taken.

Board mem­bers also elected K. Mad­ha­van

(Asianet Com­mu­ni­ca­tions), N.P. Singh (Sony Pic­tures Net­work), Ra­jat Sharma (In­dia TV) and Sudhanshu Vats (Viacom 18 In­dia) as vice pres­i­dents of the foun­da­tion for the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive term. Aroon Purie was elected as the trea­surer of the foun­da­tion. The Board also co-opted CEO of Prasar Bharati, Shashi S. Vem­pati as the di­rec­tor on the Board.
