Dainik Jagran Group’s digital wing, Jagran New Media, has recently launched a womencentric website, ‘Her Zindagi’. The core target audience for the website is SEC A, female (urban population), 30-45 from Hindi speaking markets. The website offers content in Hindi with a touch of English mainly for navigation.

From easy-to-do beauty hacks to quick recipes, the website will offer the audience base content from various subjects like food, fitness, travel, wellness, fashion, beauty, parenting, education, safety, relationship and every other topic that possibly touches a woman’s life today.

Talking about the website design,

Bharat Gupta, chief marketing officer (CMO), Jagran New Media, says, “Women like to consume magazines, unlike men. So, we tried to move away from a very conventional design. Every story on the interface is in the format of a magazine; so whichever story appeals to the reader, they would click on it. We are hoping this unique interface would help us attract more female viewership. We are uploading all original content and not curating from any other website.”

afaqs! Reporter asked him about a plan for launching a ‘Her Zindagi’ app for women, he says, “Yes we have a plan in the pipeline, but not now. Definitely, once we understand our content consumption, then we would launch our app.”
