Voda­fone con­nects cus­tomers through Voda­fone Con­test

Win­ner fe­lic­i­tated at Delhi; takes home a brand new Bike

Un­der mul­ti­ple pro­grammes that are be­ing run by the Voda­fone In­dia at the Cor­po­rate and at the dif­fer­ent Voda­fone Cir­cles level com­pany is run­ning Voda­fone’s cus­tomer con­nect pro­gram con­test for all its cus­tomers across coun­try. The pro­gram was ini­ti­ated from 23 April which has of­fered a value propo­si­tion as well as fun which added a dif­fer­en­ti­ated ex­pe­ri­ence to its cus­tomers.

Voda­fone has sev­eral on­go­ing cus­tomer con­nect ini­tia­tives all year around, to en­gage closely with cus­tomers and make them feel spe­cial for choos­ing Voda­fone. In this par­tic­u­lar con­test, it is a daily quiz con­test, where cus­tomers were sent ques­tions on a host of Gen­eral Knowl­edge top­ics and Voda­fone cus­tomers had to re­spond through SMS.

Win­ners are be­ing cho­sen based on the max­i­mum num­ber of cor­rect re­sponses re­ceived by the com­pany.

As com­pany con­ducts a wide spec­trum of cus- tomer en­gage­ment pro­grammes at a Na­tional level and at in­di­vid­ual cir­cles level. But one of the key ob­jec­tives be­hind such pro­grammes is to get cus­tomers to feel a deeper con­nect with the Voda­fone brand and to re­ward them for their pa­tron­age , en­gag-

ing cus­tomers, de­light of­fers, men­tion a few done in past. Un­der this par­tic­u­lar quiz con­test the prizes be­ing of­fered were 1st prize Honda Bike, 2nd prize Elec­trolux Win­dows AC and 3rd prize Sam­sung Neo Tab.

The bike was one of the prizes on of­fer and was won by a Voda­fone cus­tomer from Delhi and de­clared the win­ner of its “Win a Bike con­test” of­fer. Voda­fone cus­tomer Sub­hash Goyal from Pi­ta­m­pura was cho­sen as the win­ner of a brand new Honda Bike.

To par­tic­i­pate Voda­fone cus­tomers sim­ply had to dial 50404 or 5454502 and an­swer a set of ques­tion based on gen­eral knowl­edge, Pol­i­tics, Bol­ly­wood, etc. Each right an­swer would fetch cus­tomer points. Win­ner of the con­test was se­lected from the en­tries with high­est score and min­i­mum re­sponse time for sub­mis­sion.

Speak­ing about the suc­cess of the con­sumer pro­mo­tion of­fer Apoorva Mehro­tra, Busi­ness Head – Delhi-NCR, Voda­fone In­dia said, “At Voda­fone In­dia, we are al­ways on the look­out for in­no­va­tive av­enues to cre­ate and pro­vide a fun and dif­fer­en­ti­ated ex­pe­ri­ence to our cus­tomers. The Voda­fone “Win a Bike con­test” was one such ini­tia­tive that of­fered a value propo­si­tion as well as an op­por­tu­nity to en­gage with our val­ued cus­tomers. On ex­press­ing his plea­sure Sub­hash Goyal, the Bike win­ner, said, “I am over­joyed on win­ning the bike con­test. I thank Voda­fone In­dia for mak­ing my ex­pe­ri­ence with them such an en­rich­ing and re­ward­ing one.”
