Xiaomi Mi 4i with 32 GB ROM launched in In­dia

Xiaomi, which is cel­e­brat­ing its first an­niver­sary in In­dia, has an­nounced the launch of the 32 GB ver­sion of Mi 4i in In­dia for ` 14,999. The 16 GB ver­sion of the phone is re­tail­ing for ` 12,999.

It comes with Snap­dragon 615 (2nd Gen) octa core pro­ces­sor and the latest An­droid 5.0 Lol­lipop op­er­at­ing sys­tem. It has the latest MIUI in­ter­face which now sup­ports six In­dian lan­guages - Hindi, Ben­gali, Tamil, Tel­ugu, Kan­nada, Malay­alam.

The Xioami Mi 4i has two SIM card slots both of which sup­port 4G net­work. The Mi 4i has a 13 megapixel rear cam­era with 5-el­e­ment lens, f/2.0 aper­ture, and has sup­port of two-tone flash light. In its front, there is a 5 megapixel cam­era with f/1.8 aper­ture and 80 de­gree wide an­gle. The Xiaomi Mi4i has a 5 inch dis­play with full HD res­o­lu­tion and it has an uni­body de­sign.

It has a 3120 mAh bat­tery which, ac­cord­ing to Xiaomi, of­fers 1.5 days of us­age time. Xiaomi Mi4i feel light in your hand. It weighs 130gm and is quite slim at 7.8mm for a phone with 5 inch dis­play. It has a non-re­mov­able poly­car­bon­ate rear cover which has a soft touch matte fin­ish. It has smooth rounded corners and edges. At the time of launch Xiaomi had claimed that one can erase off per­ma­nent marker marks off the cover and while we were re­view­ing the de­vice we did check out this fea­ture and it in­deed was true.

On the right side panel, there is vol­ume rocker and the power/standby but­ton which are made of me­tal and are sturdy and easy to ac­cess. On the left side there is a dual SIM tray.
