TITA cel­e­brates Bon­alu Jathara with great ferver

Win­ner fe­lic­i­tated at Delhi; takes home a brand new Bike


The Te­len­gana In­for­ma­tion Tech­nol­ogy as­so­ci­a­tion (TITA) cel­e­brated the Te­lan­gana State Fes­ti­val Bon­alu with

great zeal on Sun­day. The event ti­tled “TITA Te­langna Bonala Jhathara

2015” cel­e­brated in the Hi-tech City and at­tracted

huge gath­er­ing from dif­fer­ent sec­tors, es­pe­cially from the IT sec­tor with IT pro­fes­sion­als and Cor­po­rates be­ing the ma­jor au­di­ence.

Bon­alu which means food is a Hindu fes­ti­val cel­e­brated in parts of Te­lan­gana and Ray­alaseema in An­drapradesh, In­dia. The TITA team pro­posed to of­fer 21 Bon­alu to Chinna Ped­damma Thalli, op­po­site to Google Build­ing. Te­lan­gana Gov­ern­ment Ad­vi­sor, K V Ra­manachary IAS in­au­gu­rated the poster for TITA Bon­alu.

“Right from its in­cep­tion in 2010, TITA has been work­ing en­thu­si­as­ti­cally for the well be­ing of TE­LAN­GANA. And Since 2010, Bon­alu - Now de­clared the state fes­ti­val of Te­lan­gana has been cel­e­brated with much fer­vor ev­ery year by TITA. And this year, the event be­came even more Mag­nif­i­cent.” said TITA Pres­i­dent Sundeep Ku­mar Mak­thala.

The Bon­alu Fes­ti­val is also known as ‘Ashada Jatara’. The Te­lan­gana Gov­ern­ment de­clared the ‘Bon­alu Fes­ti­val’ as the ‘State Fes­ti­val’.
