Value Labs Donates 50 PCs to Digithon Centers for Digital Literacy
In an entirely appreciable move, major IT Company Value Labs has come forward to contribute to the cause of digital literacy in Telangana and announced to donate 50 Computer systems to the Digithon Centres.
The Digithon Centres are being established by TITA Digithon in association with Telangana government in order to promote digital literacy and empower the masses on digital tools and empower them in latest updates of the IT.
Value Labs IT head Dharma Raju Chakravaram said that his company wanted to have its contribution towards empowering the masses especially in rural areas.
He said, “When we got to know about these Digithon Centres we have decided to contribute to it. We would be looking forward for other options to work with Digithon and any such initiatives in future.” He was speaking at the inaugural of a daylong workshop on implementation of digital programs and PMGDISHA held at Hotel Plaza.
Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala said that to begin with, 10 Digithon centres were established in ten districts of the state so far and the number will increase in coming days.
