Value Labs Donates 50 PCs to Dig­ithon Cen­ters for Dig­i­tal Lit­er­acy

In an en­tirely ap­pre­cia­ble move, ma­jor IT Com­pany Value Labs has come for­ward to con­trib­ute to the cause of dig­i­tal lit­er­acy in Te­lan­gana and an­nounced to donate 50 Com­puter sys­tems to the Dig­ithon Cen­tres.

The Dig­ithon Cen­tres are be­ing es­tab­lished by TITA Dig­ithon in as­so­ci­a­tion with Te­lan­gana gov­ern­ment in or­der to pro­mote dig­i­tal lit­er­acy and em­power the masses on dig­i­tal tools and em­power them in lat­est up­dates of the IT.

Value Labs IT head Dharma Raju Chakravaram said that his com­pany wanted to have its con­tri­bu­tion to­wards em­pow­er­ing the masses es­pe­cially in ru­ral ar­eas.

He said, “When we got to know about these Dig­ithon Cen­tres we have de­cided to con­trib­ute to it. We would be look­ing for­ward for other op­tions to work with Dig­ithon and any such ini­tia­tives in fu­ture.” He was speak­ing at the in­au­gu­ral of a day­long work­shop on im­ple­men­ta­tion of dig­i­tal pro­grams and PMGDISHA held at Ho­tel Plaza.

Te­lan­gana In­for­ma­tion Tech­nol­ogy As­so­ci­a­tion (TITA) Global Pres­i­dent Sun­deep Ku­mar Mak­thala said that to be­gin with, 10 Dig­ithon cen­tres were es­tab­lished in ten dis­tricts of the state so far and the num­ber will in­crease in com­ing days.
