Ri­coh launches New Se­ries of Com­pact Pro­jec­tors

launches its new se­ries of in­no­va­tive pro­jec­tors – PJ S2440, PJ X2440 and PJ WX2440.Com­pact, light­weight and ex­tremely ver­sa­tile, the pro­jec­tors boastRi­coh’s ad­vanced tech­nol­ogy, func­tion­al­ity and re­li­a­bil­ity.

Ideal for con­fer­ence rooms and­class­rooms, the new de­vices of­fer great con­nec­tiv­ity op­tions, and can beeasily car­ried for any con­ve­nient lo­ca­tion to project im­ages, videos, and pre­sen­ta­tions. Users can show­case their work at pro­jec­tion sizes rang­ing from 30 inches to 300 inches wide di­ag­o­nally, even when placed only a few feet away from the screen or wall. Each of the mod­els de­liver ex­cel­lent colour, crisp and clear im­ages and text def­i­ni­tion.

The en­try-level pro­jec­tor, RI­COH PJ S2440 can be used for big screens, still im­ages, Pow­erPoint pre­sen­ta­tions and pro­jec­tions of desk­top or com­puter screen.At a bright­ness of 3,000 lu­mens and a high con­trast of 10000:1, this model doesn’t com­pro­mise on qual­ity thus promis­ing out­stand­ing­per­for­mance.With the PJ S2440, you can project im­ages with SVGA res­o­lu­tion at up to 800 x 600 dpi with a 4:3 as­pect ra­tio for easy view­ing. This model is sim­ple to set up and use, weighs 2.6kg and comes with HDMI con­nec­tiv­ity op­tion.

De­signed for higher qual­ity, more de­tailed im­ages and videos, the RI­COH PJ X2440 has the abil­ity to project with XGA res­o­lu­tion at up to 1024 x 768 dpi, whereas RI­COH PJ WX2440 can project im­ageswith WXGA res­o­lu­tion at up to 1280 x 800 dpi.PJ X2440 of­fer 3,000 lu­mens, and PJ WX2440 of­fers 3,100 lu­mens, cou­pled with 10,000:1 high con­trast ra­tio mode, users can im­press au­di­ences with bright, crisp vi­su­als in even mod­er­ately lit rooms. Both the mod­els fea­ture a 16:10 as­pect ra­tio, mul­ti­ple in­put ter­mi­nals in­clud­ing a built-in HDMI/MHL port to plug in a wider range of multimedia de­vices like desk­top com­put­ers, lap­tops, tablets, DVD and Blu-ray play­ers. Be­sides, op­tional 3D pro­jec­tion tools can be added foran up-close-and-per­sonal look at CAD draw­ings, blue­prints, spe­cial videos and more. For wire­less pro­jec­tion, a Wi-Fi don­gle can be used.

RI­COH PJ 2440 se­ries brings vivid color qual­ity with brighter im­ages. It uses Dig­i­tal Light Pro­cess­ing (DLP) tech­nol­ogy for more pre­cise pre­sen­ta­tions, more con­sis­tency and less la­ga­long with noise lev­els as low as 31 dB.Users can ad­just bright­ness for darker colours au­to­mat­i­cally to re­duce en­ergy us­age,with­out dis­tort­ing the qual­ity of im­age with the ‘Eco Mode’. Although the in­ter­nal speak­ers have bril­liant sound qual­ity, there is port for plug­ging in ex­ter­nal speak­ers.In ad­di­tion, the lamp life of the pro­jec­tors can be ex­tended from 5,000 hours to a whop­ping 6,000 hours.
