Vertiv concludes Annual Channel Conference 2017 at Goa
Vertiv has announced the successful conclusion of its annual ‘Annual India Sales, Service and Channel Conference FY 2017’ in Goa. The conference was organized from December 16 to December 19, 2016 with the theme ‘Start Strong, Finish Strong’, and saw an attendance from over 360 participants, consisting of business partners and members from the Vertiv sales, service and channel teams across India.
The conference witnessed the grand launch of the new Vertiv brand at the hands of the Asia Pacific President, Stephen Liang. It saw attendance from top executives at Vertiv which included Stephen Liang, President, Asia Pacific; Terry Purcell, Chief Financial Officer, Asia Pacific; Sunil Khanna, President and Managing Director, India; along with other senior management. This year’s theme ‘Start Strong, Finish Strong’, highlighted Vertiv’s ability to scale new heights by streamlining and simplifying processes, structure, and strengthening its position as an industry-leading infrastructure provider.
Stephen outlined the company’s commitment to India and said, “India stands tall with the highest expected GDP growth rate for 2017 out of the eight countries that are expected to grow beyond the world average of 5% growth. With a growing impetus to digitization and a proliferation of broadband connectivity, India today is the cynosure of every investor and thus an important market for Vertiv. As a privately-held, standalone company, we have more flexibility to make business decisions and move quickly like a start-up.”
