Vertiv con­cludes An­nual Chan­nel Con­fer­ence 2017 at Goa


Vertiv has an­nounced the suc­cess­ful con­clu­sion of its an­nual ‘An­nual In­dia Sales, Ser­vice and Chan­nel Con­fer­ence FY 2017’ in Goa. The con­fer­ence was or­ga­nized from De­cem­ber 16 to De­cem­ber 19, 2016 with the theme ‘Start Strong, Fin­ish Strong’, and saw an at­ten­dance from over 360 par­tic­i­pants, con­sist­ing of busi­ness part­ners and mem­bers from the Vertiv sales, ser­vice and chan­nel teams across In­dia.

The con­fer­ence wit­nessed the grand launch of the new Vertiv brand at the hands of the Asia Pa­cific Pres­i­dent, Stephen Liang. It saw at­ten­dance from top ex­ec­u­tives at Vertiv which in­cluded Stephen Liang, Pres­i­dent, Asia Pa­cific; Terry Pur­cell, Chief Fi­nan­cial Of­fi­cer, Asia Pa­cific; Su­nil Khanna, Pres­i­dent and Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor, In­dia; along with other se­nior man­age­ment. This year’s theme ‘Start Strong, Fin­ish Strong’, high­lighted Vertiv’s abil­ity to scale new heights by stream­lin­ing and sim­pli­fy­ing pro­cesses, struc­ture, and strength­en­ing its po­si­tion as an in­dus­try-lead­ing in­fra­struc­ture provider.

Stephen out­lined the com­pany’s com­mit­ment to In­dia and said, “In­dia stands tall with the high­est ex­pected GDP growth rate for 2017 out of the eight coun­tries that are ex­pected to grow be­yond the world av­er­age of 5% growth. With a grow­ing im­pe­tus to dig­i­ti­za­tion and a pro­lif­er­a­tion of broad­band con­nec­tiv­ity, In­dia to­day is the cyno­sure of ev­ery in­vestor and thus an im­por­tant mar­ket for Vertiv. As a pri­vately-held, stand­alone com­pany, we have more flex­i­bil­ity to make busi­ness de­ci­sions and move quickly like a start-up.”
