TPV eye­ing dig­i­tal sig­nage mar­ket in In­dia

Philips has launched its Wide range of Sig­nage so­lu­tions and Video Walls for In­dian Mar­ket. Mar­keted by MMD, a sub­sidiary of TPV Tech­nol­ogy Ltd, the Philips sig­nage so­lu­tions are de­signed for stun­ning vis­ual ex­po­sure through wide dis­play for var­i­ous public lo­ca­tions and of­fer a va­ri­ety of spec­tac­u­lar fea­tures for a su­pe­rior dis­play ex­pe­ri­ence.

The Philips Dig­i­tal Sig­nage So­lu­tions were launched in In­dia in 2012 and now the com­pany has an­nounced the launch of rev­o­lu­tion­ary XL Se­ries (Video wall) of sig­nage so­lu­tion with bright­ness of500/700 cd/m2, with OPS mo­d­ule and Smart In­sert fea­tures. This is a per­fect semi out­door dis­play de­vice for com­mer­cial dis­plays. The Video wall­szero bezel dis­plays,cus­tom­iz­a­ble in a for­ma­tion of up to 15 x 10 dis­plays. Com­pared to the com­peti­tors, these walls have ul­tra-nar­row­bezel, whichen­sures no gap in be­tween the pic­tures, to pro­vide in­cred­i­ble il­lus­tra­tions of the video im­ages.

Speak­ing about the launch Sau­rabh Grover, Coun­try Head–TPV In­dia said, “The global sig­nage mar­ket with a growth of 8 per­cent CAGR is ex­pected to reach$24 Bil­lion by 2020. The In­dian mar­ket, since last 5 years has shown un­prece­dented growth driven by­in­creased ad­ver­tise­ment bud­get, in­fras­truc­tural de­vel­op­ment, gov­ern­ment ini­tia­tives and ex­cit­ing dig­i­tal con­tent. Cur­rently the mar­ket is grow­ing at 25% CAGR growth and this is only ex­pected to rise fur­ther. We at TPV see this as a great op­por­tu­nity and ex­pect to pen­e­trate in max­i­mum busi­ness seg­ments with strong need for dis­play so­lu­tions.”
