Celkon launches CT11 An­droid tablet

The smart­phone maker Celkon has ex­panded its prod­uct port­fo­lio with the launch bud­get An­droid tablet named CT11. The com­pany has priced the tablet at ` 2,999 and it is avail­able for pur­chase via all re­tail stores and on­line via Ama­zon.

On the spec­i­fi­ca­tions front, Celkon CT11 fea­tures a 7-inch WVGA dis­play and runs on An­droid 4.4 KitKat oper­at­ing sys­tem. The de­vice is pow­ered by a 1.3GHz quad-core ARM Cor­tex A7 pro­ces­sor and its on­board stor­age ac­counts to 32GB which can be ex­panded fur­ther via mi­croSD card.

The tablet comes equipped with a 2MP pri­mary and sec­ondary cam­era to fa­cil­i­tate video call­ing. On the con­nec­tiv­ity front, the de­vice in­cludes 3G via Don­gle, OTG sup­port, card reader, mouse, WiFi, Blue­tooth and houses a 2,500 mAh bat­tery.

Last year, Celkon launched its CT722 bud­get-friendly tablet in the In­dian mar­ket priced at Rs 4,999. Celkon's new CT722 tablet has a 7-inch dis­play with 1024x576p res­o­lu­tion and runs on In­tel's Atom X3 C3230RK chipset. This An­droid 5.1 Lol­lipop tablet comes with 8GB in­ter­nal stor­age, 1GB RAM and mi­croSD card sup­port up to 32GB. The rear and front cam­eras of Celkon CT722 have 3.2MP res­o­lu­tion. The sin­gle-sim tablet can ac­cess the in­ter­net over 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi, while its bat­tery ca­pac­ity is 2,800mAh.
