Jashodaben’s lips are sealed, but these spouses are happy to talk about their winning halves

The Economic Times - - Pure Panache -

We have discussed films so far and now we will discuss politics at home. It will be funny to see Kirron in Parliament, but I am proud of it too. She is not a typical politician, and got into it thinking India needed a change. I believe India needs this kind of change.

At home, it will be interesting for me to learn how Parliament functions. Of course for her, it will be a job. But now a part of me and (son) Sikander will be even more respectful to the member of Parliament in our house. There was or is nothing to sacrifice as such. If Hema wins, this will not be new for us. I have been an MP for five years and our lives didn’t change much. It’ll be the same this time too. But I just want our motherland to be treated like a mother, to look as beautiful as the mother. This is my theme.
