VK Singh to Launch Site for NE

NE min­is­ter plans to launch web­site by the end of the week to help people in­ter­act with him page. Around 60-70 people from dif­fer­ent parts of the North East will be selected and Singh will in­ter­act with them dur­ing his vis­its over the next few weeks.

“This is to show people they are con­nected to the coun­try. I want to en­gage with people there to know about their prob­lems be­fore plan­ning so­lu­tions,” said the 63-year-old, adding that he has a fair idea about the re­gion and will make sin­cere ef­forts to en­sure that it pro­gresses on par with the rest of the coun­try. Singh served in the North East in dif­fer­ent ca­pac­i­ties as an army of­fi­cer. For­mer Army chief VK Singh, who as­sumed charge as Min­is­ter for De­vel­op­ment of North East­ern Re­gion (DoNER), will soon launch an on­line por­tal to in­ter­act with people in the north east, es­pe­cially the youth. The web­page, that will be launched by the end of the week, will help him con­nect with on­line as­so­ci­a­tions of people in the north east­ern states.
