VK Singh to Launch Site for NE
NE minister plans to launch website by the end of the week to help people interact with him page. Around 60-70 people from different parts of the North East will be selected and Singh will interact with them during his visits over the next few weeks.
“This is to show people they are connected to the country. I want to engage with people there to know about their problems before planning solutions,” said the 63-year-old, adding that he has a fair idea about the region and will make sincere efforts to ensure that it progresses on par with the rest of the country. Singh served in the North East in different capacities as an army officer. Former Army chief VK Singh, who assumed charge as Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), will soon launch an online portal to interact with people in the north east, especially the youth. The webpage, that will be launched by the end of the week, will help him connect with online associations of people in the north eastern states.
