Bharat Wire IPO Draws 5.2% Premium on De­but

The maiden ini­tial pub­lic of­fer­ing (IPO) of Bharat Wire Ropes made a de­cent de­but with a 5.2% premium over its is­sue price of Rs 45 on Fri­day. The shares opened on BSE at Rs 47.35 and closed at .₹ 45.40. The IPO, which opened for sub­scrip­tion dur­ing March 18-22, was sub­scribed 1.34 times. The is­sue price was fixed at .₹ 45 per eq­uity share and raised .₹ 70 crore from the of­fer.
