Peo­ple are be­com­ing fat­ter. Be­tween 1975 and 2014, the mean age-cor­rected body mass index (BMI) in­creased from 21.7 to 24.2 in men, and from 22.1 to 24.4 in women, ac­cord­ing to The Lancet.
