with a touch of pragmatism.

At the same time, she will have to wrest from the Modi government manoeuvering space to indulge in ‘politics of healing touch’ to check the pro-Pakistan separatists’ and manage the turf-war with the National Conference-Congress, even while trying to deal with the increasing rift in her party over ideological issues and power-sharing. After all, it is strategically important for the BJP too to show it is part of the ruling establishment in a Muslim-majority state.
