Go Air CEO Prock-Schauer Becomes MD
Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, the CEO of Go Air has been promoted as its MD, two senior executives said, reports Anirban Chowdhury. “The decision was taken by the board on Saturday. It is subject to statutory approvals,” said one of the executives. Prock-Schauer will now become a member of the company’s board. He will retain his post of CEO in Go Air and share that of MD with Jeh Wadia who is currently in that position. Prock-Schauer, former CEO of Jet Airways and Airberlin, is leading Go Air’s move of an IPO later this year. He is also steering its first major round of growth with an order of 72 Airbus A320 Neo planes, the upgraded version of the most popular airliner in the world.
