Col­gate Signs up Kohli for New Tooth­brush

Ahmed­abad: Col­gatePal­mo­live In­dia on Tues­day an­nounced Vi­rat Kohli, In­dia’s T20 cricket cap­tain, as the new am­bas­sador of Col­gate Su­per Flexi tooth­brush. The TV com­mer­cial of Col­gate Su­per Flexi Tooth­brush, that talks about a flex­i­ble neck, il­lus­trates the sim­i­lar­ity be­tween Kohli’s flex­i­ble bat­ting strokes with Col­gate Su­per Flexi’s flex­i­bil­ity thus build­ing a strong brand con­nect, the com­pany said in a state­ment.

Eric Jum­bert, VP-Mar­ket­ing, Col­gatePal­mo­live In­dia said, “Vi­rat Kohli is one of the top crick­eters in the world and is known for his win­ning, flex­i­ble crick­et­ing strokes. Hence he struck us as a per­fect match to be Col­gate Su­per Flexi’s new brand am­bas­sador.

Kohli is cur­rently the highest-paid bats­man on the en­dorse­ment cir­cuit and cur­rently, the most talked-about and most trend­ing sports­man in the coun­try across so­cial me­dia, in­clud­ing Twit­ter, Face­book and In­sta­gram.

Kohli av­er­aged a record of close to 12 lakh con­ver­sa­tions in March, com­pared with 7 lakh for Dhoni, ac­cord­ing to so­cial me­dia tracker Au­tumn World­wide, ET had re­cently re­ported.
