Healthcare platform Practo is partnering with Twitter on World Health Day, to help users get replies from doctors to specific medical queries, reports Our Bureau. Twitter users can get answers in real-time through the official handle for Practo Consult, a platform that enables consumers to connect with verified doctors to get quick, free and authentic answers to their health questions. The service is already available on the web and on smartphones.

This latest integration with the micro-blogging site will now be available in three markets — India, Philippines and Singapore — and in English. It will soon expand to cover more countries and languages.

“The ease of access and simplicity will be disruptive in how people access healthcare information. We’re really delighted to partner with Twitter to bring this solution to our consumers,” said Shashank ND, CEO of Practo.
