HC Re­fuses to Stay Vig­i­lance Case on Mani

KOCHI: Ker­ala High Court has de­clined to is­sue stay or­der on the pro­ceed­ings by the Vig­i­lance Court against for­mer fi­nance min­is­ter KM Mani. KM Mani had sought a stay un­til the crime branch files its in­quiry re­port against SPR Suke­shan. The court or­dered that the vig­i­lance court pro­ceed­ings sched­uled for April 16 can go on. Jus­tice PD Ra­jan or­dered that the pe­ti­tioner can ap­proach the court if he has any griev­ances against the Vig­i­lance Court pro­ceed­ings. Mani said that it was vig­i­lance SPR Suke­shan who in­sti­gated the bar ho­tel owner Biju Ramesh to make charges against him in the bar-bribery case. -
