New Delhi: Regalia Luxury has entered into an exclusive partnership with Swiss watchmaker Bovet to sell its watches in India from this month. The Mumbai-based company, which also represents Italian suit brand Kiton and British shoemaker John Lobb in India, will sell watches from the Swiss brand dating back to 1822 at .₹ 12.5 lakh onwards.

“We are targeting fairly evolved customers who want something unique,” said Pratik Dalmia, founder of Regalia Luxury. “Bovet is not someone’s first watch. We will have the exclusive rights to sell these watches in India, and we want to build this slowly through word of mouth publicity and appointments. We will also look at curated events in cities like Mumbai and Delhi to build awareness,” he said.

Pascal Raffy, owner of Bovet said: “Whenever we start a new partnership and presence in a country as vast and varied as India, it is imperative that we share the same values as well as gain the trust and respect of our customers. We believe that we are now ready to propose our timepieces to Indian collectors thanks to the support provided by Regalia Luxury.”

Raffy said the pocket watches manufactured by the Bovet brothers in the 19th century have contributed to shape the spirit of their timepieces and that Bovet makes all components of the watch movements regardless of the complexity.
