Haldia Plant to be Closed for 5 Weeks: Tata Chem
Tata Chemicals has informed BSE that their plant in Haldia which, is a fertliser factory will be closed for 5 weeks in SeptemberOctober according to the filing on the BSE. This will be because of ‘interruption’ in supply of ammonia that is used for manufacturing certain products and fertilizers. The Haldia plant has a capacity of 1.2 million tonne per annum (MTPA) and is produces Sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP). It also includes Di-ammonium phosphate (DAP), NPK complexes, single super phosphate (SSP) which are used for crop nutrition.
