Google & RailTel to Scale up WiFi at Rail­way Sta­tions

Over 10 mil­lion peo­ple will be able to use high-speed in­ter­net for free across 100 rail­way sta­tions by the end of the year as Google and RailTel plan to scale up their WiFi ser­vice for cus­tomers. The global in­ter­net search gi­ant and the In­dian Rail­ways’ in­ter­net provider arm RailTel on Fri­day in­tro­duced free WiFi at 10 sta­tions, in­clud­ing Pune, Bhubanesh­war, Bhopal, Ranchi, Raipur, Vi­jayawada, Kacheguda and Visakha­p­at­nam.
