For Some Bankers, their Ca­reer Comes Full Cir­cle

There seems to be a lot of CVs from a fledg­ling bank float­ing around look­ing for op­por­tu­ni­ties in es­tab­lished banks. The banks are will­ing to take their for­mer mid­dle-level man­agers, but there is one hitch — pay hike. Many of them had quit to join the fledg­ling bank with a 40-45% in­crease in pay. The banks are will­ing to take them back, but only on one con­di­tion — at the same pay scales they had when they quit. When push comes to shove some may be left with no other op­tion but to lap up the of­fer.
