Re­act­ing to the Bloomberg story, Nikesh Arora said the in­vest­ment hehad­madeinSoftBank’sstock­had demon­strated his com­mit­ment to the com­pany. “By all ac­counts, my in­ter­est is aligned to the share­hold­er­scon­sid­er­ingIamthesec­ond­largest in­di­vid­ual share­holder.”

Bahl said, “Nikesh adds tremen­dous value to Snapdeal since his style is to con­trib­ute con­struc­tively and pro­vide on­go­ing en­cour­age­ment and in­spi­ra­tion to en­trepreneurs he backs. He has been a key con­trib­u­tor to our com­pany’s suc­cess­ful jour­ney till now and we con­tinue to look to­wards him for guid­ance and sup­port. Any en­tre­pre­neur or com­pany in the world would be for­tu­nate to have Nikesh as an in­vestor.”
