Yen at 110 to Dol­lar Too Strong: Ex­pert

Ja­pan’s for­mer deputy econ­omy min­is­ter said the yen was too strong at cur­rent lev­els of around 110 to the dol­lar, ex­press­ing dis­sat­is­fac­tion with the cur­rency’s 8% rise this year amid eco­nomic anx­i­ety. “Even at 110 yen, I think yen has strength­ened,” Ya­su­toshi Nishimura said in an in­ter­view.
