A Hard Race to US Presidency

The Economic Times - - The Edit Page -

Apropos ‘It’s a Democracy Derby’ by Seema Sirohi (Apr 27), whether the US election process is a Derby race or gala circus, it is, for the presidential contestants, an exercise that tests their prudence, endurance and persuasive skills throughout the 50 states before their party makes the choice. Our election process fails to filter out the criminal, tainted and unsuitable politicians. Also, no one has approached the authorities in US to ban the Republican Party for Donald Trump’s racial speeches. The difference needs deep research.
