Bonds Drop, Call Rates Turn Higher

Govt bonds dropped fur­ther on sus­tained sell­ing pres­sure from banks and cor­po­rates, but the overnight call money turned higher due to good de­mand from bor­row­ing banks. The 6.97% 10-year bench­mark bond slipped to .₹ 103.98 from .₹ 104, while its yield rose to 6.41% from 6.40%.
