8-crore En­ergy Boost for Ze­natix from pi Ven­tures

Ze­natix So­lu­tions has raised ₹ 8 crore from in­vestors led by pi Ven­tures in a pre-se­ries A round which also saw par­tic­i­pa­tion from ex­ist­ing in­vestor Blume Ven­tures, re­ports Shadma Shaikh.

The data-driven en­ergy ef­fi­ciency startup had ear­lier raised an­gel fund­ing from Tri­fecta Cap­i­tal’s Rahul Khanna, Google’s Ra­jan Anan­dan and Snapdeal co­founders Ku­nal Bahl and Ro­hit Bansal. The com­pany plans to use the cur­rent round of fund­ing for ex­pand­ing busi­ness and re­cruit­ment.

Aim­ing to ad­dress the en­ergy ef­fi­ciency prob­lem faced by a range of cus­tomers, the com­pany uses ad­vanced ma­chine learn­ing-based mod­els and de­liv­ers 10-30% en­ergy ef­fi­ciency to large com­mer­cial con­sumers of elec­tric­ity.

The com­pany’s first in­ter­netof-things equipped of­fer­ing Wat­tMan ad­dresses the chal­lenges of en­ergy con­ser­va­tion in an au­to­mated man­ner.
